YEG Built For Life Foundation Academic Scholarships 2026
Scholarships applications are open on April 1, 2026 and will close on August 1, 2026. Successful recipients will be notified in the last week of August 2026. We are anticipating a 2nd annual scholarship ceremony for recipients to receive their scholarship in the presence of their families and friends in September 2026 (date & location tbd).
Eligibility Requirements:
- Prospective recipient must have financial need,
- Prospective recipient must not have received a previous YEG Built For Life Foundation Award,
- Prospective recipient is the primary financial source in their household,
- Prospective recipient must be a resident of Edmonton or immediate surrounding communities (Edmonton, Leduc, Spruce Grove, Stony Plain, St. Albert, Fort Saskatchewan, Sherwood Park, Beaumont),
- Prospective recipient must be enrolled or accepted into an undergraduate, vocational, or technical school (post secondary institutes online will be considered as long as the prospective recipient meets all of the above requirements), and
- All applicants will be eligible for all scholarships.
