YEG Built For Life Foundation Academic Scholarships 2025
We are excited to announce our 1st year of Scholarships to support women seeking to enhance their education through post-secondary or technical training programs. We aim to assist women who have faced domestic violence, intimate partner violence, or abuse by offering financial support while they pursue their education.
Eligibility:
1. The applicant must provide proof of acceptance/enrollment into a post secondary school for Fall Term 2025,
2. The applicant must reside in Edmonton or an immediate surrounding community (Sherwood Park, Fort Saskatchewan, St.Albert, Spruce Grove, Stony Plain, Devon, Leduc or Beaumont),
3. The applicant:
- Provides the primary financial support for yourself and your dependents (Dependents can include children, siblings and/or parents),
- Has financial need,
- Is enrolled in or has been accepted to a vocational/skills training program, diploma, or undergraduate degree program, and
- Is motivated to achieve their education and career goals.
Requirement:
1. Fill out the Academic Scholarship Entry Form below between April 1, 2025 and August 1, 2025.
2. Applicants must be able to attend the scholarship ceremony at the end of September 2025 (Date TBD).
Applicants will be eligible for all Academic Scholarships. Successful applicants will be selected by a panel of judges and contacted at the beginning of September 2025.
