Sarah Courchesne
As the Founder of YEG Built For Life Foundation and a survivor of domestic violence, I take advocacy to heart. Through my personal experience and education, I actively work to shed light on the corruption in systems that continuously fail to protect women and children who experience domestic violence, intimate partner violence and abuse.

The public deserves to know the truth about the lack of trauma informed care provided by law enforcement, how the "child advocacy centers" ACTUALLY interview abused children, how medical systems disregard serious incidents of abuse and their contradicting justifications to protect their own, the coercion that happens in the courtrooms, how the "legal system" only protect themselves and the deep impact of trauma and revictimization by these systems.
