YEG Built For Life Foundation is a not-for-profit organization in Edmonton, AB that supports women and children who have experienced domestic violence, intimate partner violence and abuse. Founded by survivors, for survivors, our organization is committed to helping individuals navigate their path to safety, healing, and empowerment.
We understand that leaving an abusive situation is often one of the most difficult and dangerous steps a person can take. Through trauma-informed support, safety planning, resource referrals, advocacy, court support and community partnerships, we work alongside survivors to help them access the services and support they need to rebuild their lives.
Beyond direct support, we are passionate advocates for change. We raise awareness about domestic violence, coercive control, and patterns of abuse while promoting education, prevention, and community engagement. We believe every woman and child deserves to live free from violence, fear, and oppression.

Our mission is to assist women and children experiencing domestic violence, intimate partner violence, and abuse by providing resources, support, and advocacy that empower them to safely move forward. We are dedicated to amplifying the voices of survivors and advancing women's and children's rights through awareness, collaboration, and meaningful action.
Our vision is to create a safe, just, and compassionate community where survivors can heal, thrive, and build brighter futures.
